Why we do it…
The loud cackling of chukar echoing off the rim rocks in the early morning, the slow eat of a dry fly and the excitement of a nice bird dog keeps us begging for more. Making films that put you there with us week in and week out is a passion that we have built together. Growing up in the Great Basin and residing in Reno at the base of the Sierra’s, creates the great opportunity to write a book of memories that will last a lifetime. So pull your hat down tight and ride along with us while we write a novel with a camera.
Feathers
Being surrounded by pristine chukar hunting and access to well trained dogs, we have a true desire for red legs. Wild birds being our true passion, but field trials keeps our dogs in tune during the off season. Chasing these birds is not a hobby for us, it’s a lifestyle. From the schedule that is booked from October to February, to the vehicles we drive, is dedicated to hunt these birds. Fly Rods
Driven by scouting for birds, fly fishing created an addiction that has been a true outlet for adventure. Passing through the most beautiful places in Nevada searching for birds we cross waters that cut through the sage and hold beautiful desert fish. After growing up with spinning rods we made the switch several years ago to a fly rods and haven’t looked back. The tug on a fly rod with the cackling of summer chukar in a Nevada desert is something everyone should experience, but if you’re not able to do so follow us on YouTube, Facebook and instagram.
